TheVerge:
Apple's 12-inch iPad Pro goes on sale tomorrow, and that means CEO Tim Cook is ready to drum up interest in his company's giant tablet. In a series of interviews with UK publications, Cook has been discussing how a bigger iPad will change the world, but one particular quote really stands out. "I think if you're looking at a PC, why would you buy a PC anymore?" asks Cook, in an interview with The Telegraph. "No really, why would you buy one?"
Cook argues that the iPad Pro "is a replacement for a notebook or a desktop" for lots of people. "They will start using it and conclude they no longer need to use anything else, other than their phones." While it's certainly true that some consumers are replacing PCs with tablets, it's not a trend that has caught on broadly for businesses yet. iPad sales growth has halted, and Tim Cook really wants people to believe in the iPad once again.
Vision Pro is here and it’s a surprisingly capable device. Apple has also loaded the headset with a ton of options and features that aren’t obvious at first glance.
Ringing the changes: All the news, rumors, and tips you missed last week.
Apple is anticipated to announce the new OLED iPad Pro this spring. Although there has been considerable speculation about the product, it’s always reassuring when Apple officially confirms certain features through upcoming software updates.
I've fixed the images on some of these past submissions of yours. Please in the future make sure the image isn't broken on submission.( I always found it best to download/upload it to be honest. )
Sadly this is an example of how Apple has lost touch. I really expected the iPad Pro to be a keyboard less Mac Book but instead they just produced a jumbo sized iPad. I'm looking to upgrade both mine and my wife's iPad 3rd gen tablets but I'm swaying more towards a Surface Pro 4 as despite the greater cost for the model I'd want the extra capability makes up for it. Rather than have to use cut down mobile apps I could use full apps like Photoshop, Word, Excel etc and have the best of both worlds of a tablet that can also be used as a laptop when the need arises. Apple have stopped leading and now just follow, it's like they are out of ideas.
Really apple had lost the touch.
Delusional!
No way this is going to kill the PC
I would choose Surface pro over iPad pro any day.
