Sorry Snowden, while your intentions were good and to an extent somewhat helpful, you're still a traitor to our country. Thus, we should take your opinion as if it were a measly grain of salt.

"Section 3. Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort. No person shall be convicted of treason unless on the testimony of two witnesses to the same overt act, or on confession in open court."

Knowing what things are is important when making a claim. Please do this in the future. At no time did Snowden commit treason as he did not "adhere" to the countries the USA is currently fighting, nor did he give them "aid and comfort."

Examples of Treason: Benedict Arnold defected (adhered) to the British Empire, Richard Nixon committed Treason when giving "aid" to the North Vietnamese during the Vietnam War. The "South" committed treason when levying war against the United States.
