TheVerge - Days after a photo showing the back of RIM's upcoming BlackBerry 10 N-Series smartphone leaked, a new photo has given us a proper look at what the phone will look like. A post on Chinese site cnBeta revealed the handset, which will offer a capacitive touchscreen alongside a QWERTY keyboard, but doesn't offer any further details. It looks quite a lot like Bold devices of old (especially the 9900), but has a significantly larger display, and straight keyboard rather than the curved layout found in most BlackBerrys.
Facebook-owned Whatsapp will no longer work on BlackBerry OS, including BlackBerry 10 devices.
I am willing to bet the decision wouldn't have been the same had WhatsApp been a paid service or contain Ads. Anyways, this proves Facebook's ignorance towards emerging markets.
"we recommend upgrading to a newer Android, iPhone, or Windows Phone"
'Upgrade to a Windows Phone?'
Nice oxymoron there xD
BlackBerry addicts in the US will be happy to know that on February 20, AT&T will begin selling the $649.99 BlackBerry Passport and the $419.99 BlackBerry Classic online and at the carrier's retail stores. Both phones run on the security-centric BlackBerry 10 OS 10.3.1.
While both the BlackBerry Passport and the BlackBerry Classic have been available unlocked internationally, this is the first time that either device will be available for purchase through a US carrier.
Mirolta : BlackBerry is making a do or die attempt at reclaiming its place as one of the top smartphone providers. There was a time when BlackBerry was the most used handset across the world. BlackBerry has its own line of proprietary products like BBM- BlackBerry Messenger, BlackBerry PIN, BES-BlackBerry Enterprise Solutions etc.
BlackBerry also provided its email client to other smartphone models including companies like HTC, Nokia, Samsung and Sony. There were also rumors of Apple launching a smart phone with BBM and BlackBerry email. This was before BlackBerry decided to lock horns with the other smartphone companies and release its own operation system called BlackBerry 10. The company entered the market with a smart phone called Z10 which boasts of the BlackBerry’s latest operation system.
WTF is that, It's ugly.
And this was suppose to be RIM's comeback Smartphone's line.
