LOL facebook once again being twats.
they told him to f-off but please keep working hard and help them find issues.

yeah, i dont think thats going to happen.

So they screwed over the guy who can hack and access their site ?

Doesn't sound like a smart business decision. Not like they couldn't afford to pay the man either.

@racer
i think this bug falls under
Circumvention of our Platform/Privacy permission models.

under their privacy permission only friends may post to other peoples walls. he bypassed those permissions.
therefore he should get paid.

and he did report it to them only to be ignored...twice. then when he does it in such a way to open their eyes as to how bad it could get, they say he broke rules. i call bullsh!t. he did it out of concern and needed the facebook staff to take notes. i say they should double his pay for being persistent.

but i hope more hackers start finding stuff and instead of reporting it, use it for self gain. show facebook that the community is bigger than their business.

This sounds more like Apple. Zuckerberg should be ashamed of himself.

KwietStorm_BLM3958d ago

Actually it sounds just like Zuckerberg.

Soldierone3958d ago

I hope he finds another one, and instead of reporting it he just tosses it to the pool of other hackers for free game.

2 wrongs never make a right.

Facebook needs to pay the man for a good deed.
