it was never a problem! Everyone wants light, thin, large phones and then they act surprised when they can't SIT on them or they can bend them with extreme force. If I throw my TV on a concrete ground and it breaks, doesn't make it Samsungs damn fault.
Uh yeah there was a stock of 6+ models that had non-critical but aesthetically unnerving bending or warping.
