Ehh... guess you really have to wait till it comes out, but if this is it... I'd pity the Apple folks buying this and shelling out hundreds to get it. Can't they come up with something new by new. iOS 6 better be killer to justify this shell.

@Kingpin If you got a perfect design, why change it? If you want the phone to work with all the existing docks and other accessories then it doesn't need to be changed.The iPhone does everything a "phone" needs to do.I'm wondering why everyone says other phones are better. What is it that the iPhone can't do that makes the other phones sooo much better?

thats the thing, who says its perfect. they could change it up a lil. you know, give customers more variety. maybe add a qwerty keyboard as an extra. coz not everyone loves touch screens only coz apple says they must.

heck, you know what happens when you keep releasing a phone that looks exactly the same with new hardware, take a look at blackberry.

last time i checked they not doing too great.

but yeah, your mind is already made up so no point in having a discussion with you.

Well not exactly like it, but very similar. I'm more bothered about what it can do more than what it looks like. Although I do like the back a lot more than the current iPhone, at least it doesn't look so fragile.

They need to change it up.

But at the same time, if you change to much, people might not like it.

I have the Samsung Galaxy S2.

Why would i need the S3.

For what I'm planning for my phone Quad Core is very needed. For iOS dual core isn't even needed.

quad-core isnt needed for general folks, true.

but for the geek/tech fundi/guys who not scared to play around with their devices......quad-core is certainly something to have.

Some people enjoy the experience Apple products give then. Though overpriced they all work in tandem with each other and communicate. I can use my iPhone as a remote for an apple tv or my MacBook Pro for example.

I also enjoy using iTunes. Not everyone likes to pirate music. I sure don't. I support the artists I love.

The only reason I want to upgrade my iPhone is because of the app store. It is unrivalled in terms of quality, quantity and safety. Otherwise I'd probably be looking at upgrading to a Samsung Galaxy S3.

I like my iPhone for countless reasons. First is the ease of everything. Opening closing apps. The fluidness of it all. Swiping between everything just feels right. On a android, it tends to lag. Even on my friends Galaxy S3 he was swiping to the next page of his phone and it would take half a second to do it. On the iPhone its almost instant.

Apple app store can't be rivaled. Amazing app store. Also I like Itunes as well. I don't pirate my music.
I like the integration of everything on the phone. Sure the customization isn't as open as other phones. But I kinda like that. I don't need to customize everything.

Also Iphones have Gamecenter. Might be pointless to most, but I like it. I don't take gaming on my phone seriously, but I like that I can unlock achievements and such.

Iphone keypad is the best I've seen on any phone. Period. Might be opinion and preference but I can't STAND Androids keypads.

Battery life. I've been out all day with my friends and their phones will die before mine. And they charged theirs after me. They have so many things running in the background with their androids. They have to kill it. Iphone its really easy to close your apps if need be.

Yeah right, I have the s3, it this is absolute rubbish.

For once it would be nice you apple fanboys actually be honest about everything, I have no illusions about what my phone does better then ios and about what ios does better the andriod. Don't make up utter rubbish to make your purchase feel valid.

I had a iphone 4 and the battery life is utter garbage, I couldnt get a work day out of it. My s3 goes and goes.

I don't consider myself average and an iphone 4 is the only apple device that seemed to have what I was looking for.... Nice build quality and a robust jailbreak/appstore community to customize it to my hearts content(best of both worlds). I think the majority of apples products are overpriced and over hyped(custom pc and windows ftw). To each his own. I suppose I may get this new iphone(my contract is over)... The pain is waiting for a jailbreak.

apple phones are nice but id buy a galaxy or htc over them any day how about the fact that the iphone 4s body can fit inside a s2 or s3 screen.

im typing this on my 2011 macbook i can give apple props 4 this bad boy :)

I have no problem with people buying an iPhone and loving it. But to trip over eachother and act like the next release is the second coming of Jesus, and keep on upgrading every year is just stupid. It's the same damn phone with the same dated interface. To get any info on anything, open up the app. No widgets at this point and having to copy the notification bar is just showing how safe Apple has been playing it for about 2 years. The iPhone 5 better offer something a hell of a lot better than the 4s. A slightly bigger screen and a 3D map viewer that kills a street view function is NOT forging ahead by any stretch. Google Voice is more acurate and useful than Siri. It just seems like Apple is losing out in a lot of areas.
