Whats the point of the phone with so many limitations. I mean in theory he would only get to use it maybe 5 hours a day and it ultimately makes the "contract" attached counter productive. Like if he can't take it to school, then he would need to return home to obtain said phone and from there he would need to remeet with friends to make practical use out of the phone...

You can't program you're child, that's whet I take from most of this "contract". So what if he wants to listen to the same music as the other kids? Curious for porn? If he discusses it with his dad he might end up having the same tastes.
There was no point in giving this child such an expensive piece of technology and limiting its use. Just wasted money in buying it in the first place.

She has already stated it's a Christmas present and Gregory is the OWNER of the iphone.

I would agree with the mother on many things, it could go to prevent him from being trapped in this virtual world and allow him to live the real life - although I would have just not given him a phone, or given him a bare bones one as others have said.

I thought the letter was good. I think she is trying to keep her kid grounded and appreciate life... Not walk through it like a zombie with technology and miss what the world has to she you.

And to grow up and be a respectful human being... Unlike a lot of you on here who say you wanna shove the phone down her throat and rip a hole in her stomach.... Wow.... I take from her letter....don't say anything on the Internet you wouldn't say to someone in person...

FUCK THIS. If I was told to censor myself, I would tell my mom to go fuck off and return it.

I applaud these parents for getting their son an iPhone. They truly made a good investment and not only that but for laying some ground rules very responsible.

First lesson to parenting: No matter how much you try to guide your children, they will lie and deceive you.. just as you did to your own parents at one point.
