Vyralize: Three years ago, Jaylen Bledsoe started his own technology company at the tender age of 12 years old. Fast forward 3 years and the now 15 year old is heading a company valued at US $3.5 million.
more like how anyone who jumped on the internet way back when that started anything has made money off of being in the right place at the right time and offering absolutely nothing meaningful can get you rich. people make millions off of playing video games on youtube. sorry but its all about luck and the right time and right place. the kid is not actually albert einstein or anything.
you sound very bitter, also the fact he was able to grow the company to its current shows it was more than just luck. No doubt its a component of life but hard work must be acknowledged.
i am bitter. kids shouldnt be allowed to start buisnesses and such on the internet. he has unlimited free time, no bills, etc. how can adults compete with that? also what did he do exactly? if all he did was standard copy and paste crap on his site then its not impressive.
So you're just mad that he took advantage of his youth?
Unless he came from a REALLY rich family, he probably didn't start off with "company that will be worth millions one day" money. I would say that's a pretty marked disadvantage to be a kid.
Plus...come on, he did that AND managed to get potentially Harvard-grade school work done. What part of that screams "unlimited free time"?
you mean you are mad that he actually had the smarts to start building his future at such a young age and while most of us would have been pissing about.
Why shouldn't kids be allowed to start a business at such an age? Then they will at least have the money to pay their future bills, instead of relying on credit cards and getting into the financial traps of being in debt.
I wish I had made the same move when I was his age, but I also believe it's never to late and I still think there are lots of opportunities on the internet especially.
Dammit Redhawk that has to be the most selfish thing I've ever heard someone say. As we evolve we look to achieve more in a shorter space of time. What you're saying goes against the nature of human evolution.
"Bledsoe Technologies offers a range of services including E-Commerce solutions, social media branding, business and tech consulting, among other things"
That sounds pretty f***ing impressive for a 12-15 y/o to me.
Especially since he's in high school and has plans for HARVARD at the same time.
"You don't DESERVE your money, Jaylen! YOU GOT LUCKY! You give us 30% of that money so that we can subsidize internet, to people that already have access to it, right this minute!"
No, you can't make millions off playing games on Youtube unless you are Machinima.
Can you make a living? Well it depends on how much effort you put into into it. Most just earn some extra spending money. Nothing life-changing unless you are really really good at what you do just like in any other profession.

Chocolate Rain kid has done well for himself
This makes me feel like a failure. Thanks for the post. -_-
Article explains nothing! Just what did he do!?
Very impressive! Makes me want to start working smarter and harder myself
