I felt some hostility in the 'get this through your thick skulls' kind of way. :-))

There is something totally wrong with this review. First of all, it appears old as the cons include 24hr check-ins, used games problems etc. These issues are no longer a problem, so tell me, how does this garbage got passed to be on Techspy?

Who cares theres a kinect watching you, as long as you aint making things to injure people you shouldnt really be that bothered about it, if your pulling yourself around the front room you should be more worried about being caught by your family.

They are actually thinking about the future of gaming, not last gen stuff, not knocking the ps4 but come on innovation goes along way, what really have they thought about with there console, just raw horsepower, which is fine but forward thinking is what took people to the moon, flew across the atlantic or built the eifel tower. Instead of just making do we wouldnt get anywhere.

I kid.
I know it has its plus and minuses, but im just not interested right now. I will get one later when there are like 30 to 40 games that are must haves. In the meantime, I have about 400 games to play and I made a decision to get a PS4 after E3.

people hate them because of their policies and they are right but do not rush so fast at judging. who knows what games MS will bring in the future that will let you jaw dropping. Just wait time will tell.

Not a single feature listed interests me in the slightest. "The X1 has blu ray now", really? So does the outgoing PS3. "An HDMI in" and other features relevant to cable TV. Wow...TiVo? Welcome to 2003, also, does the X1 even record TV or is it an overpriced cable box?
This is becoming a daily insult. I think it's time to cancel a couple preorders that I have on the X1 and put the cash on some Playstation games for the PS4 I also have on preorder
