This week Mozilla released Firefox 7, touting increases in HTML5 standards compliance as well as reduced system memory requirements. I downloaded it to try it out, and for the most part things are as advertised.
Firefox 73 is a minor update that highlights Mozilla's decision to speed up the browser's release schedule.

Why are Firfox updates coming out so fast? Weren't we on like 3 a few months ago? At this rate we'll be on Firefox 20 by next year.
Only days after Mozilla released Firefox 6, the beta version of Firefox 7 has been released, keeping Mozilla in the browser sprint currently in progress.
You can already download Firefox 8. It's in alpha, I guess, it's codenamed Aurora.
Infact, if you've got one of those SVN downloader things, you can already download FF9 from a repository.
Yeh, they are releasing them too quick now. I know they are trying to be like chrome, but you can't just jump from having like 1 release a year to having 5 or 6.
They need to slow it down a little bit to allow developers time to upgrade their toolbars. I've been waiting over a week now for a working version of SEOMoz.
I'm tired of all these updates... seriously. It's as annoying as Adobe updates now.
FF7 is a bloody train wreck. Crashed me PC several times, and I run a decent rig... saw many instances of similar occurrences on the Mozilla forums.
my brother did a clean install of FF 7 the other day. It used more memory on 2 different computers than previous versions, coming in at 400mb - 500mb and would severely slowdown or lock up after a few hours.
Well im using the latest version of opera & it runs fine 90% of the time with minimal issues & rarely crashes on me.I had more issues & crashes with Internet explorer,chrome & fire fox then i have had with opera thus far.

Just got Firefox 7 and it is an absolute pain so far, it had frozen my computer uncountable times and is far slower than previous ones... I should have stuck to 3.6
