Vyralize: Freelance designer Gábor Balogh put an interesting spin on the smartwatch concept by beautifully and subtly mixing more traditional watch designs with a digital interface. If you’re a watch enthusiast, you would have noticed that the frame from his concept is based of the TRIWA Havana timepiece. He virtually trimmed away the analogue display and replaced it with his concept smart display which shows not just the time, but other information panels such as incoming calls, turn-by-turn maps, heart rate readings, weather, magnetic directions, among other useful stats.

The problem with designs like this, they're created by people who don't have the first clue about engineering. It's like that block phone, designing something pretty is one thing but actually making it function is quite another.
