The thing about it is, smart developers build a framework before starting android development. They keep android calls abstracted away from pure Java calls, making QA a relatively smooth and painless process.

I worked on an Android game before and it was hell. Sure the game would run well on one person's phone, but then it would crash and barely run on another.
there needs to be some standards apis here. Something all phones can run that will do anything needed.
