Agreed, and it ain't the Apple!

The Rolex will last a lifetime
The Apple will be outdated in a year
The Rolex battery lasts a year or more
The App,e needs recharged daily or it is dead
The Rolex is fashionable, and has a classic timeless look
The Apple looks like a Casio calculator watch

Those in the know...they know what time it is. Time to sell AAPL shares. This thing is going to tank HARD!

Apple Watch will be awesome to use in my work or when i go to the club, my Rolex i use when i play golf or when i go to a restaurant.
I will need both, an Apple Watch and my collection of Rolex.

Good wrist watches with heavy price tags have the following differences versus this Apple gold watch:
- They generally are expected to last a lifetime, 30+ years (Apple's software will be out-of-date within a few years)
- Handmade
- Beautiful, elegant
- A fair amount of gold in them (Apple's special 18k gold has less than half the amount of gold as regular 18k gold)

Pshhh I doubt the apple watch will do well in smartwatch martket (at least this one) Android wear and Pebble are outdoing apple watch by a long shot and even apple fans are starting to realize it being turned off by apple watch 3hr-18hr battery life.

Only thing apple watch has over current android wear and pebble devices is NFC and a speaker. Everything has been done already with AW. AW also gets 28- 39hr avg battery life.

Man these are some damn ugly watches. Ill stick to the classic like Rolex. Apple just cant compete with that. Not in this universe.
Stick to what you know. Apps and stuff, don't try to move into watches now.
I own a Movado, analog, it was worth every cent. I'd like either Rolex or an Omega analog. I've been saving for it. Every man should have a fine watch or two as an accessory (we should be counting on our smartphones as a watch). We have so little accessories to begin with.

But this ugly s%$!

Apple isn't down to Earth enough for pricing any of their self-proclaimed 'luxury devices' less than cartoon expensive. Then you have their Fapples proclaiming you can buy an older generation iPhone that, given Apple and their universally closed design philosophy, ages far worse than a 2010 Android (or even legacy Windows Phone) handset. Just imagine the crap they'll pull with Apple Watch 2G, 3GS, 4 and beyond. I wouldn't put it past them to make the plastic Apple Watch anywhere above 700.00 USD, with two year old Smartwatch specifications.

Damn Apple has gotten cocky.

The price is perfect, i pre-ordered two. Can't wait to use Apple Watch with my New IPhone, driving my brand new BMW i8. ^^
